How Many Synchrony Cards Is Too Many?

So I need some emergency dental work done tomorrow. I recently obtained 3 Synchrony cards- Wal-Mart in August, Amazon in November and Belk in December. I'm thinking about apping for Carecredit but I don't want to set off red flags for fraud, etc. How many is too many synch cards in a short period of time? And will this set off an alarm? Thank you in advance!

Are you sure, Nixon? Because I'm a little nervous but this could come in handy. Also, if I apply tonight under that specific dentist will my information go straight to their system or do I do that when I get there?

Oct. Sams 5-3-1 MC

Nov.PayPal MC

Dec. Ebates Visa..............on top of 4 others already obtained in a year. Don't worry you'll be fine with Care Credit and all the best with the procedure.

I've heard talk that if you're at the office it's an easier approval, but I am not sure i'd put too much faith in that. Do you have someone who'd be willing to go in Joint with you? Better chance of high CL.

Okay! Thank you @CreditMagic7. I don't even know if I'll get approved or if it's even worth a HP for. I have way too many new accounts so it may be a denial.

I don't have anyone that can joint app. My family is anti-credit. No joke. I'm rolling solo on my credit journey. Well solo and the Myfico community of course!

Re: How Many Synchrony Cards Is Too Many?

Let me just set the record straight right her and now, you can never have too many synch cards, lol!!! I have 6, obtained 5 of those all within a 3 month span, and care credit was my last one in October.

You should apply, ask high! I asked for $5k and got instantly approved, called 2 days to the automated # they give you with your preapproval, asked for $10k and they countered back with $7k.

So, ask higher, they will counter offer. I love all my synch cards and they have a special purpose in my life lol!!Smiley Wink

It's yet another Synchrony card for me that i know i'm going to have to have sooner or later. I have a ton of new accounts and i just listed the 3 in-a-roll in 3 months they had no issue approving.

Best of Luck for a good approval.

Re: How Many Synchrony Cards Is Too Many?

I was just instantly approved for Care Credit the other day for $14,000.

I have over 30 INQ and 17 new accounts within the past 6 months (3 from GE). You should be golden.
