How soon can I ask for a CLI or when do they do automatic CLIs? Thanks in advance.
Generally, you are eligible to request a CLI using the luv button every six months on a card issued by Citi, and usually it's a soft-pull (YMMV of course). Others have posted here that they were able to increase their initial limit by calling Citi once they received their new card in the mail. Again, YMMV.
Excuse my ignorance, but what does "YMMV" mean?
Your mileage may vary, a metaphor.

Your mileage may vary. Sorry about the abbreviations - we use a lot of them around here! There is a sticky (thread) containing all of the commonly used abbreviations.

trumpet beat me to it!
I applied for my TYP card in late June ... Err June 22nd I think and asked for a CLI with a HP in August and got approved. Now if you want it to be a SP I would say just wait 6 months
I recently received a credit line increase with a SP via the LUV button a few weeks ago on my TY Premier card. I have since converted the TY Premier to a Prestige card.
Does anyone know if I will be able to request another CLI once I receive the Prestige card considering it is a new product type? Or, do you think I will still have to wait the 6 months from the time I received the CLI on the TY Premier card?
Just a follow-up. I asked for a CLI today and she gladly raised it from $3800 to $10000. Thanks Citi!

Gladius, congrats! If you don't mind me asking, how long did you have the card before you got the CLI? Was it a SP or HP?
I assume it was a hard pull (didn't ask). Had the card for about 2 weeks.
