I was reading that people have 2 US Bank Cash Plus credit card accounts. How is that possible? Do they both show up on the same app login? It will be awhile before I may be eligible for a U.S. Bank credit card myself after burning them in 2017. I am paying them back monthly even though it has dropped off my CR, which will take a little over a year from now.
I just think that would be confusing to manage though. Are both interest rates the same?

As with most banks, the most common way is get the second one via a product change (i.e. you get a different card and convert it to a cash plus). In the particular case of US Bank, you can also have joint accounts (not just authorized user) so my wife has a joint Cash+ with me, and one of her own.
Yes, they both show up on the same login, you have to choose the categories for each card separately. The interest rate might not be the same, it depends on what the interest rate was when you got the cards and changes since.
I have a Cash + and a Shopper Cash Rewards. The SCR is free for the first year and $95/year after that. When my free year is over, I will probably PC it to a 2nd Cash+. I don't think the SCR is going to be worth $95/yr to me and I don't see another US Bank card that I want. I got it in December so I have a while before I need to worry about it, but that's the tentative plan.

Yes, the cards all show up on the same login. But. it's actually fairly easy to keep track of US Bank card accounts. Despite their website IT not being the most cutting edge, they do give you the option to nickname each account. If you have two Cash+ accounts, just name one something like Cash+ Streaming and the other Cash+ Utilities. The last 4 digits of the card number can also be used to differentiate accounts.
