How do I get a CLI from Walmart and Old Navy

I have been reading this board for a while. I normally just lurk but I decided to actually join just a few days ago. I am wanting to do a CLI for my old navy and Walmart cards. I have seen people talking about a back door number and I have no clue what that means.   I have had both of these cards since Feb 2015. I have made three monthly payments on time. This month I am carrying a balance over on my old navy but that will be paid off in the next couple of days. I have no balance at all on the Walmart. 

What would be the best way to get a CLI? I have hit the credit increase button and it tells me the account is not old enough yet. Any advice would be awesome and help me to figure out what to do..

Wait 4 months from the time you opened Wal Mart. That would be June. What is your FICO score and the limits on each card?

Just do a chat with Wal Mart after 4 months and tell them how much you want. Keep the amount in line with the highest CL on your bureaus. Old Navy I would edit 6 months.

My fico scores are 655 for Eqifax, 685 TU and 660 for Ex.  I am slowly building my credit back up from my bk back 2010.  I just started rebuilding this past july. Before July of 14 I had a zero score.  There was nothing to report.  So i have come along way. I just got a increase on Cap 1 plat. I went from 300 up to 1300.  I know all this takes time, but I am hoping to be able to get a mortgage in the next few months.  I know when I got CLI from Cap 1 my scores went up over 60 points. I would like to see that jump again when I get CLI on my other cards

i called this number at my 2nd statement on walmart and got a 20x CLI.

just let them know you need cell phone, tires, etc. (or whatever you need on 0%) and would like 5k - 10k.

You're in good shape. Just wait the 4 months and then ask for a $1300 limit on Wal Mart. Keep up the good payment record and leave maybe a$50 balance on the card when you ask for the cli.

You have a much thicker file than the poster does. With high credit of $1300 it is unlikely they will get a $5000-$10,000 limit.

You have a much thicker file than the poster does. With high credit of $1300 it is unlikely they will get a $5000-$10,000 limit.

   sorry charlie... i got approved with 0 open accounts, 30k income listed, 666 TU, for $150 when i opened waly. it's all about the recon.

  just call and get it over with, if they say to wait then that is no prob, they are nice and helpfull and it won't hinder any further progress.

  edit: and no they probably wont get 10k, they will counter $2000 - $2500 if approved (my guess)

  forgot to note i had a 13k+ open fed tax lien and small charge-off on all 3 when i recon'd
