How does a SP or HP look on your CRs

Ok I looking at my CR, and I wanted to know how does a SP/HP look on your report? I got VS from a preapproval  poup and I dont see it on my report. How does a SP look, what should I be looking for? Thanks in advance

Where are you getting your report from? 

If it's not directly from the CRAs, it won't show SPs.

An HP will be on your report under inquiries and may have a notation about "able to be seen by others." You can see HPs on your reports directly from the bureaus as well as 3rd party servicing apps like Credit Karma. SPs on the other hand, can usually only be viewed on a report directly from the bureaus. They will fall under a category like "promotional inquiries" or "inquiries viewed only by you." The shopping cart trick yields SPs. Also, they might have pulled any 3 of the bureaus, so if you don't see it on one, check the others.

It was Experian, VS sent me a letter saying they couldn't verify me. I don't see it. Maybe it takes time? I see Past HPs under Credit inquries

Reports from myFico don't show SPs, so you won't see it even if it's there.

Doesn't show SP's sorry you have to get them EX EQ TU

Ok thanks, is it mandatory that I see a SP? Or it doesn't matter? Because I'm paying myfico monthly to get my scores. I don't want to pay someone else to see a SP

SP's have 2 benefits to me 

(1) I can see who may want to offer me credit

(2) when its time for a CLI on an existing account I can tell when they last reviewed my credit
