I am getting prepped to hit the IVR again. However, since Discover reports CLI's to the CRB's immediately I want to do their's last. Citi's is done. I think I need to call Macy's about the Visa CL next, but I want to use my store account first. (Store account not used much these days!)
Discover never reported my CLI's immediately. It took them a full billing cycle to update my new line. I received the last CLI on 1/6 and it's still not updated. My line stil says $3400 instead of $4100.

Add/Delete an AU, or change something in your profile info and they tend to udate CR info quicker - mid-cycle.

So we can do that with Discover too? I'm on it!
I don't have the same specifics on Discover, except that in the process of me adding and deleting AU's and/or updating address/phone info, Discover has reported mid-cycle updates.
SO...it may be possible to force mid-cycle update on Discover too....I just don't have the exact menu ingredients to guarantee the result and what the exact timeframes are.
Anyone who wants to test and report....WELCOME to challenge!
Remember, DI, you are on a different from normal CLI program. It has been most people's experience that the IVR initiated CLI's are reported mid-cycle.

This is also a good way of getting another address on your CBR. Just change your address - wait a few days - change it back. I can think of a few reasons why you might want to do that, but I'm only going to mention one of them here: To solve AU reporting problems!
Are you saying one should add an AU's home address to appear on one's credit reports?

Only if the AU TL is not reporting and you would like to get it to report. Having the AU's address on your CBR might solve the problem.
