How exactly do I obtain a Wal-Mart Mastercard?

Hi everyone! I've heard conflicting stories about how exactly to obtain the Walmart MasterCard. I've heard that it is invitation only, that you apply and it results in a hard pull, that you can only apply through the phone, what exactly is the deal with the MasterCard? I would like to be able to get it. Does anyone know what type of scores they're looking for? Or what kind of usage they're looking for? Does your card have to be a certain limit already, for example $5,000? Thank you in advance :-)

No you can apply for it, Id say 700+ TU score should do the trick, when you apply for the MC if you don't qualify for it they will give you the store card.

Go into the store and apply. you wil be considered for the MC first just like online but online is a blackbox to me. Ive applied for synch cards online and get the 400 dollar store card and then went int the store and got the 5,000 Visa/MasterCard.

I agree on having a 700+ score but do it in store for best results.
