How fast can AMEX CL grow?

I apped for AMEX BCP last Thursday and was in pending state until I called today. Turns out that I still had a fraud alert on EX that I thought had been removed.  So, just had to answer some questions and verify phone and now APPROVED!

So, that's the good news, the bad news is the CL.  $1000   What am I supposed to do with that??

I know that at 61 days you can ask for a 3X CLI but is that the max?  $3k would still be a pretty crappy CL for me.  How quickly can this grow?  Can I ask for 3X every 61 days?

I believe it's also determinant on your income as well, and how much CL it can support. After that 3X, I believe it's 90 days to another. But don't quote me on the second part.

61 days for the first CLI. 6 months for the each CLI after that. 

At least, I think that is how it works. There are some little things about that to keep in mind with multiple cards  but you only have one it seems.

We should wait for some additional input on this but I thought that the 90 days was if Amex denied the CLI.

61 days 3x CLI. After that, every 6 months 3x CLI. They will counter if not approved for full 3x.

Thanks! My income is north of $200k so I was really surprised at the $1k CL.  I guess it's because of my old tax liens.  

So, at 61 days ask for $3k?  

Then 6 months after that I can ask for $9k or can I ask for more?
