1 year is always better but 6 months is sufficient. You still may have to recon but it makes at a little easier to do.

You most likely will get denied for multiple inquiries

You must wait 6 months minimum and that's not 100% guaranteed

And just as the CSP is best with the Freedom to pump in points, the Premier is best with the Forward, but that's now not available except for students.

Re: How hard is it to get approved for Citi Thank You Premier?

Citi is very new account sensitive. In fact, that was my ONLY reason for denial.

But alas, I was AAAPPROOOVED(said like Suze Orman!) hahaha

On recon.
I'd give it exactly six months from your last inquiry and app then.

Re: How hard is it to get approved for Citi Thank You Premier?

After much thought, I've decided to give up on this app for now.

Like most of you here suggested, I will wait until end of this year, or until Feb'14 where the inquiry becomes >12 months.

Thanks a lot everyone!

Oh and another question: I had 5 inquiries on 02/05/13 due to an auto loan. Does it fall off at start of feb'14, or will it be reflected as >12 months in March'14?

Thanks!!!!

Off to spending the cards I just got and paying for them ._.
