How is BestBuy Rewards Zone MC with CLI's?

How is BestBuy Rewards Zone MC with CLI's? I am wondering if there is a way I can escape from the $300 CL they approved me with the card. Any chances I can get CLI on this card or is it like another Target Card that will sit at $200 CL no matter what you with that card?

Kind of a stinker, as I recall. Some people have reported success though, but I think it takes patience. This is HSBC we're talking about here.

I've had the store card for a year, and I've been shot down for CLI's twice. (Not really sure why I tried!)

I was approved with a 1000 CL in March, had it increased to 1300 on activation and when I went on my app spree a couple of months ago, they gave me a 750 increase. I don't use the card much. The one I do use, the 2% CB card got the smallest increase. Oh well. They are still decent enough limits to use.

Concord sounds like you are on the same sucky plan as I am with BB MC.  I got a $300 CL back in March 08 and they will not grant me a CLI.  Guess my account will never qualify for a CLI.  I was also charged the $59 AF.  I am going to call them up this week and tell them they can cancel the card.  I don't need this one especially for having a $59 AF.

Mine have no AF. The one that did, when it turned 1, I axed it.

I got mine the last week in October, 500 limit... spent $480 right away, paid it off the first week in December, spent 480 again, paid it off 2 weeks later and got a CLI up to $800 2 weeks ago, without applying...

Re: How is BestBuy Rewards Zone MC with CLI's?

(edited) I had the card for 15 months, used heavily, used sparingly, almost always PIF. My CL started at $300 and went to $500 over a 15 month period. I got tired of their crap so I closed it.

After reading through here a little more. I guess those that get initial CL higher than $300 and no AF may actually have some room to grow. Shouldnt matter where you start, it should be how you take care of the TL.

I'm not wild about them either, but c'mon, now. --hauling

Wow these post surprise me about BB. I've had their store card for 7 years and have got unsolicited CLIs and all I ever use it for is the 0% financing and pay-off in the promotional period.

Yeah i saw the same thing seems like the people that start out with the 300 limit don't go to far with CLI. i have the store card with $600 limit that will never see a CLI. I still love Best Buy as a store but they really need to drop HSBC an go with another bank.
