Re: How is Juniper these days?

Once upon a time I was looking at Juni Us Air card but gave up quick after reading about the low starting limits and tight CLI. But I would like to see what other have to say about Juni now in this credit environment..

I think you're good for the iTunes...I was approved for it about 3 months ago, and didn't realize at the time that my Transunion (which they pulled) had some incorrect info on it. My score was definitely less than 650, and I received a $500 credit limit. If you're okay with a low limit, I say go for it...I know I regretted applying and receiving such a low limit, especially after looking at my report and getting my score up over 700 now. I wonder what limit I would have gotten now, and they're stingy with increases. Smiley Sad

Starting Score: 670 EQ and 674 TU
Current Score: 670 EQ and 674 TU
Goal Score: 750 both EQ and TU

Re: How is Juniper these days?

I received a preapproval in the mail and went online and apply and I was approved instantly for a $3,500 credit line and a 7.99 fixed APR back in December 2008. I immediately close the account before I even receive the card. While waiting for the card to arrive home. I read and research about their (Juniper) services and I saw alot of complaints about Juniper, I mean tons tons tons of complaints. I don't appreciate any credit card issuers with lots of negative and bad customer service. So i mailed in a letter and request to close it. It was my mistake for not doing research about the card and services. I do research more on the card issuers before I apply next time, I learn my lesson. Don't want to get all the surprise stuff down the road.

Good luck if you are with Juniper Services..

Re: How is Juniper these days?

$3,500 Instant Credit Line is nice, however, there are too many complaints about Juniper. Sudden rates increase and Credit line decrease and poor/rude customer service is a major turn off for me.

Re: How is Juniper these days?

Really have to say that I've never had any of those, nor any other issues with Juniper and I've had their card for several years now. The only thing I don't care much for is their reluctance to approve you for more than one of their credit cards. Not that they never do, just that they don't seem to do so very often.

I think if you actually use their cards and behave they aren't half bad really.

Re: How is Juniper these days?

Another reason I dislike Juniper was this:

They approved me for a $3,500 credit line but when I login my account they withhold $20 off my credit line for WHATEVER the reason is. So my actual credit line is $3,480. Why are they doing this?So if you are a Juniper customer, do they do this to you? If so, explain...because to me, it's just stupid...
