Are they anal about inquiries? Has anyone been approved by them with a lot of inquiries?

Very
I was denied for USAA Platinum MC by a lot of inquiries and 10% util. I applied on the phone and my score was under 700 three years ago.
Ron.
CSR told me herself, that if it weren't for the inquiries, I would be approved. Told me to try again in 6 months..
+1 very anal on inqs lol
What do you consider alot of inquiries? I had 6 on equifax when I applied and was approved this month. I had 6 on EX and TU also, but I think they only looked at EQ.

The thing about USAA, is if you're a full member, then lending standards are a bit more lenient compared to a partial member. So with 6 inquiries, you may get approved, whereas a partial member could be declined. Were those 6 inquiries fairly new?
learnin113- How many inquiries did you have in the last 12 months when you applied?
Yes, I am a full member, so that may have been the difference. I had 6 inq in the last 4 months. Before that I hadn't app'd for anything in 3 years.
