So couple questions with new cards. They are sallie Mae, cap 1, and Amex.
1) these cards were all activated around feb 6th. I used them and the pending charges finally appeared today and final. Is 10 days normal for a "balance due" to finally appear. It seems like pending charges should be final after 2-3 days. Not 10. Strange?
2) when should a statement be cut? I have no due date or statement available yet.
3) typically how long before they report of my reports? They show as inquires but not as available credit yet.
Thanks!!!!

Capital One reported after my statement cut.
Thanks!!!!

My barclay also takes forever for pending charges to post. My fave part of cap one is that things post quick!

I'm not aware of any standard timeframes. As suggested above, call and ask for your statement dates.

Also varies. Typically when the first statement cuts though some report earlier and some report later.
I was able to call and I used the video chat feature for AMEX on the ipad which worked great BTW!!!
I found out when my statements cut so I can pay down my CC's before then
I bought an iphone 6 right out on my Capitiol one so I def gotta pay that next week! lol
Thanks guys!!
