Jeez man... based on that I'm gonna step away. You took this personal when the only reason why we're all here is to better eachother. I apologize I couldn't be of service.

As a respectful reminder, the thread topic is concerning Cap One CC graduating from secured to unsecured (tl:dr answer:  they don't unsecure).   Much of the discussion has been circular rehashing of points not pertaining to this topic.   Please consider starting a new thread if you would like to discuss other topics.

How many times must it be said?

Closing an account does not immediately reduce your AAoA.

As many times as necessary. There are always new members asking about this.

I know I didn't know anything about AAoA when I became a member.

Hey man, I really don't wanna sound short but you all really should consider taking this discussion further. Though you may get emotional at times, our words have the same impact on others as they did on us the very first day we signed in. I'm here to better my family and anyone else I can along the way,

I really do. I had to deal with CapitalOne for 3 1/2 years with two cards before I really started getting into primeland again. (Besides my AMEX of 6 years at that time.)
