Good Morning OP! Would you like to be specific on what card we are talking about? When did you apply, do you have the card in hand?

If you don't understand the question, no need to post! OP stated the Cash+ card which is US Bank, the categories can be selected every quarter, so nothing to do with apping etc.

Sorry, I though this forum is about helping others when they get confused to be more educated whatever it may be.

OK, so now I have explained! But IMO, if you think a question is unclear, perhaps wait to see some other responses before asking for clarification.

I changed it to fast food and electronics. I will change to phone and tv/internet in April but wasn’t any point since I get 5% on amazon until then on those purchases.
Fast food would be an easy category to check. If you have any McDs or similar around, purchase something for $1 and see if you get the bonus. Usually when I pay with the Cash +, with in 24 hours, I see the charge pending and usually see the bonus there. I'll check mines to see how long it takes to post.

No need for the snipiness. @Anonymous may not have seen the title.
Got my cash+ card yesterday, and signed up for the 5% catagories and got the 3 day message like OP did. Checked again this morning and message changed stating that I am ready to go, so my request for 5% catagories took less then 24 hours to process.

Ah ok. I just checked now mine still says we are still processing your registration. I wonder if as long as the transaction post by the time your registration is processed you will still get the 5%. I sure hope so!
