I added a screened in porch to the house I bought last year. Which put my balance up to $7400 on a CL of $12,500. That much extra on a card, and it dropped my score 22 points across the board on all 3 bureau's. My EQ dropped to 630. EX dropped to 678 and TU dropped to 698. I was also was at 19% utilization, now I am 29% util. I was wondering how quick do CCC start doing any AA? I only plan on carrying that much utilization to the end of April. I plan on paying off most of my cards at the end of April as well..
Call a backdoor number and explain yourself. Ask them if adverse action is likely. Always better to explain yourself beforehand, give them piece of mind, know that you don't have to worry about it, etc. etc.
I don't see any problem. What have you done wrong? When you use your credit more your score will drop some . Lots of people raise their utilization to 50-60 or 70% on their bureaus from time to time. As long as you are paying on time it is no problem.
Again your score will drop accordingly and gradually go up as you pay down some of the debt.

Did that with my SimplyCash. Instead of the 60 day cli they promised, must wait 6 months. So I called and let them know I was balance transferring to free up credit for more large charges. Love the card, automatic statement credits. But if they want a certain amount of spend, they need to offer a certain limit (I am never comfortable maxing out a card, even if it is a hidden trade line). Amex was cool with it (at least they say). Plenty of spend left on for direct pay.
