To make things easy, I have 335 points. For the month of October, I can get a $5 gift card for 500, which means I just have to spend about $83 on eBay/Paypal to empty the account. My statement is always due in the beginning of the month, so I most likely would not have time to post a transaction if points add up at the statement to your account. If it adds like Cap1 does, by posting as you charge, then I can. I plan on cancelling it if I can't get them to product change the account to the new Paypal Cashback Mastercard. As 2% is better than everything on the eBay card other than gas and dining (even with the less than a penny structure), it is a far better card. And I have a couple dining cards at 3%.
im pretty sure its gonna post with the statement like my discover... my bf has used his card a few times already no points yet..
edit: sorry he has paypal mc not sure if thats different than the ebay one

I believe that they are one and the same. Just different brands. And Paypal only allows one of the 3 cards to be had by a cardholder. I figured the statement was probably the answer. As Cap1 is the only card issuer I have seen post points as purchases post, it was most likely the case. I did find my last statement was issued on the 9th like a year ago so I might be able to purchase today and get the points.
