How long has it been since you applied for a credit card

How long has it been since you applied for a credit card?  Mortgages and auto loans dont count.

For me its been about 2 years.

Less than 24 hours LOL  Unfortunately, now that I finally seem to be able to be approved for CC (couldn't get them for several years) it has become addictive to apply for them.

For me it will be about two years - on August 1, 2011 that is... I applied for my last CC yesterday because I thought a gas card would help in my mix - won't know for 2 weeks if approved - and then I'm done for awhile. Good discipline on your part by the way...

Nine months - when I applied and got my Citi card in response to a ratejack from Amex on my blue card.  Amex has since lowered my APR, so I have a Citi card with a $12K CL.  Too bad I lowered my AAoA.

My last application and approval was 2/4/09 with US Bank. I also applied for and received 6 new cards between 11/1/08 and 1/1/09.... all bank cards and CU's

My AAoA as of 7/15/09 is still over 6 years.

Next application will be 1/1/10 for the NFCU cash rewards.

I'll have all I need for awhile.  Not like I even want to "use" it...except for the UTIL%   Buy some groceries & PIF as soon as it posts!

27/JUL/09 for addison avenue platinum visa - pending
