How long is it before you get your security dep. back with secured CC's?

Is it different for all secured cards or generally the same? I opened a First Premier CC in October of last year and I can't remember how long they said they hold on to the security deposit. Does anyone know?

It's a YMMV thing based on creditor. I had BofA and Orchard and those were 2-4 weeks, IIRC.

When did you close the account?? If you haven't yet, What i've found out to work alot better is have the deposit pay off any remaining balance then close it, you dont have to wait then!
