Ive had my United Mileage Explorer card for 3 months, 4th statement will cut on 5/23.
Is it too soon to ask for a CLI and is Chase always a hard pull? Which CB do they usually pull for CLI?
They gave me a $2K CL and I have $12K on Fidelity, $5K on B of A and $4k on Discover, would like to get this to $5k and get the sig version.

Unless you get an auto CLI with Chase it's going to be a HP. They use different bureaus in different places, it's always been EX for me in CA. Has anything favorable changed since you apped?

Chase is always a hard pull. I've had two CLI's done with them in the last month. Both were on cards DW and I have had for 1 year each. One card went from 3k to 25k. Another card went from 7k to 20k. I asked for 30k in both situations, and they countered with a very generous amount back on both cards.
3 months seems short to possibly waste an HP. Might want to wait for the 6th statement.
YMMV!
I asked after month 3. It will be a HP if it is initiated by the consumer.
2 years and counting here. Chase not great on auto CLI so HP would be necessary
