That's a good point you bring up as I had to do a balance transfer (18 mo BT) and incurred some current expenses I have been paying the minimimI start paying 15% of the balance per month starting in April I should have it paid off in 7 months prior to the end of BT period...
One = 15 months 00% which will be paid off at the end of the "free" period.
Useful tool, but one needs to be careful and financially responsible too.

Definitely being mindful of how much I collect in debt and trying to determine how much I can save at the same time...

I have a Chase United Mileage Plus card with BT and it constantly has offers and I have another Chase Flexible Rewards Card (I just finished paying this off today) that has an option for BT's but constantly says no promotions available at this time....
