An employee at EQ working on my dispute told me "NEVER" to check my own credit score from outside monitoring services because they pull "HARD INQUIRIES" each time I view my CR. She meant well but didn't have a clue about credit reporting. I think her expertise in credit worked to my advantage because my dispute came off in 1 day instead of 30 days.
