I was just wondering how many card designs can you have activated at 1 time? Currently i have 2 but froze 1 due to me not using it and i dont want to hit like a limit of cards.
I don't know if there's a limit. I had 5 active the most at one time (with one of them being an AU's). Cycling through 4 cards right now with one of them being an AU's. Obviously, it's not a great idea to have very many open since the risk of getting one taken will be higher (blah blah you can freeze cards I know). Anyway, you should just chat with them really quickly to ask if you don't get an answer here.
why do you need so many of the same card? wouldn't it be easier to combine them all in to one credit line?

just my 2 cents....I think it's a bad idea to have them frozen.

Frozen cards will decline store charges, however online is still able to use a frozen card. I did talk with Discover and they said as many as i would like, however i dont plan to have more than like 2 or 3. They did say they could deactivate a card pernamently if requested. This way i can request a new image and deactivate a old image i no longer want.

They're all the same credit line. They are asking about the DiscoverCard feature where you can request additional cards with different card color or image, selected from a small selection of images.
i wouldnt go crazy with that feature, since Discover pays a price to make and ship each card to you. You don't want to become an unprofitable customer.
And I have 3 Discover It cards...

You're still able to use frozen cards online because the card number, security code, and expiration date are still the same as the ones that aren't frozen and the original just in case anybody wanted to know. The only thing that's different is the sequence number, which doesn't mean anything when it comes to actually using your card to pay for something.
