With that kind of history, you definitely need to apply for better cards. The ones you have are rebuilder cards and will not grow with you. Try a CU or any prime bank.

Hello All, I'm new here!  I made some very foolish credit decisions while in undergrad (mid 1990's), but have successfully "rehabilitated" my credit profile over the past decade.  These days, I'm a new person when it comes to credit usage.  So, for those of you who may still be "living down" past mistakes, keep the faith, you'll eventually escape from subprime purgatory!
