My plan is to app for bcp, and a citi card ( would like chase ink for my bus also) in jan but in August I bought a new car and they shopped around and gave me more inq's. In jan I will have 5 inq's on ex, 2 on Eq , and 3 on tu. Should I wait til April when I have 3 on my ex, 2 on Eq, 2 tu. I have Amex bus cards now and not sure if that's going to help my chances for bcp( I think) but I've read that citi doesn't like inq's.
Both Chase and Citi can be INQ sensitive
The good news Chase on recon the INQ's for the car can be explained
I think your history with Amex business or personal will help
What the approvals will boil down to is how CR's and scores look at the time and remember Chase has it own internal scoring system.
Citi is just to hard to figure recon sucks IMO and you never know if they will approve or not .....I just stay away from Citi ...I also don't see a lot of value as far as rewards in Citi cards. They have a good BT product and maybe one decent reward card IMHO
They just scare the hell out of me and I've never been denied ..........funny huh

Yeah. Out of those 5 inq's 2 are for the car and 1 is for my bus amex. So there's just 2 for cards and they are six months old now. So I'm thinking I can get my utl down to 5% ish or lower ( it's at 22% now my scores will be well in the 700 range
UTL will play an important role as well
