Re: How much do you have banked in rewards and why?

Chase AARP:  115 dollars (just unlocked the 100 dollar bonus)

Chase Freedom:  16 dollars (haven't used it much since cashing out)

Bank of America Better Balance Rewards:  0 (I use it as soon as I get it on the one thing I put on there which is internet)

Bank of America Cash Rewards:  201 dollars (100 dollar bonus plus gas/groceries when Sallie Mae is capped out)

Sallie Mae Mastercard:  48 dollars.  (I build up to 100 dollars and then cash out.  Usually this takes about 3 months with gas, groceries, and amazon.

Contemplating saving all of these up and accruing points until the summer and then spending them on a trip to Chicago.

Re: How much do you have banked in rewards and why?

~225k miles through my Alaska Airlines account

~52k points (and climbing fast) through Chase

-$5.76 on QuicksilverOne (yes that is negative haha, an item was returned)

~50k MR Points through AMEX

Saving up my AK Air miles for two first class tickets to Thailand (planning on proposing to my gf on this trip so making it extra special).  Saving up my Chase UR points to transfer out for round trip tickets to Europe and my MR points for whatever I can get for a flight.

I'm considering getting a hotel card but I use HomeAway or Airbnb a lot these days because why rent a room when you can get an entire house?

160k for Chase Freedom

155k for CSP

80k for  Barclay Arrival +

25k for Best Buy Mastercard

350$ for my Capital One Quicksilver

Why? Cause I like seeing my balance grow

Re: How much do you have banked in rewards and why?

I have over 47K AAdvantage miles banked (I just get a couple every year now to keep them active through Rewards Network and am otherwise saving them for a "someday trip". Maybe someday I'll get an AAdvantage card for the extra miles but I'm in no rush).

I have been redeeming Discover cash back monthly just cause. I PIF anyway but it is nice to save a couple bucks.
