How much of a CLI should I request for the Home Depot card.

My hubby has a HD CC he was 2600. CL  he simply went into the store and said he wanted a CLI they pushed some buttons asked if 7000.00 would be ok he said yep and i dont know if the pulled hard or soft.  hope that helps . Good Luck Vicki

Hi Vicki. That's a really great cli. Congrats on him. Was it a store card or the H.D. branded M.C. ?

I called about my home depot last month and they said it would be a hard pull, so I said no... but hd is SUPER about givine auto cl if you are using your card and paying the bill. I have seen 4 auto cli.

Update.

Last night I decided to ask for a $300.00 increase on my fathers Home Depot account and today I checked his account and it was approved.

Update.

Well last night I decided to ask for another credit limit increase on the my fathers Home Depot account. Not sure why I did it and considering that I just asked for one such a short time ago I thought it was a stupid decision and it would be denied.

Last night I asked for a $500.00 Credit Limit Increase and to my surprise when I checked the account online today they granted it. So my Dad went from having a $500 CL 3 weeks ago, to $800 CL, and now he has a $1,300.00. I'm really surprised, I never thought they granted increases so easily.
