I usually call all my cards every 6-7 months to ask for a limit increase. I'm curious to know how often you guys do the same? And when they ask you how much of an increase you would like to see what do you usually tell them?

I only call for a CLI if I need to. Otherwise, I just do it online or via automated line. Usually I give the reason I want one --- either to accommodate a BT or travel.
This. I honestly plan on never asking for a CLI again - I don't need it and it isn't worth the trouble for me.
Not even for accounts that do soft pulls? I don't think anyone has done a hard pull on me on any of my CLIs. I'm definitely surprised to be in the minority here of asking for CLIs on a regular basis. I'd assume the higher my credit the lower my utilization rate would be even on a very large purchase.

For SP like discover or amex I will do it whenever i am eligible. For HPs like chase i let them auto cli me.
I have never once called for a CLI. I have on a very few occasions clicked a CLI request button on a banking or card website. I have about $90K available to me basically without trying.
I've had credit for almost 40 yrs. Time makes up for a lot of begging.
edit: Let me add that I'm relatively new to this site and I find it almost amusing how there seems to be an almost competitive atmosphere. It seems like a friendly game of who can amass the most credit on the most cards. There really is a null factor after so many different cards. Having good credit can open many doors from loans to even getting that great job, but do some here seem a little obsessed with credit and score? I mean it's a credit forum, so obviously the main topic is amassing and improving credit.

Oh no, you're absolutely not in the minority! I click all of my SP-CLI accounts online. lol Sorry that I didn't mention that. I absolutely pursue all SP-CLIs. However, lately I'm not as regimented as I have been in the past as my utilization is pretty low at this point.
The only account that I could ask is Chase Freedom but since Chase is a double pull for me this will never happen. I would move 5K from the Marriott if needed. With starting limits of 10K or more there is absolutely no need for CLIs with my income. It would take decades to pay back if I would use my existing CLs
for your accounts,
1. Citi every 6 and the online system will tell you if they will check on a sp or if it will be hp (if you are taking hp and able to ask for amount vs sp you just click for what they give, I like to ask for at least $25k depending what you are at now and take a counter, usually within an hour or so)
2. PayPal every 4 statements either online and you can't ask for an amount or credit solutions and go big!
3. Barclay every 6 months and not much talk of how or if you can see about just sp vs hp requests
4. amazon, again GE like paypal, every 4
5. amex every 6 (3x current limit, system instantly counters)
6. chase no history doing but they seem to love you!

And on the contrary, begging makes up for a lot of time! My AAoA is less than two years but begging seemed to have accured me a nice line of credit lol. Mainly because I sometimes have to make large advertising deposits for my business so after those I still want to keep my utilization rate below 15%. If I didn't run a business I probably wouldn't have 8 out of the 10 cards I have now.
And for being a little obsessed with credit and score, isn't that why are all registered here?
