How's this for a CLI

Opened a JCPenney card in Dec. got a pre approval in the mail. Recieved a crappy 150cl used it once for 36.34 and paid online as soon as it posted to the account and haven't used it since. Well  thought I would hit the luv button today for kicks. Your new credit line is 1500 would you like to accept, well ya I'll accept who would have thought I'm shocked.

Wow! Super Congrats!!!! Smiley Happy

A 10-fold increase in your credit limit just doesn't happen
every day, now does it? I'd be shocked too....but in the best
kind of way.

Congrats again! Smiley Happy

Your post makes me wonder what JCP would be willing to do for my mom's acct.  Her CL is 524.  The account was opened in 1963.  I wonder if it's possible to go from 524 to 25k -- just to match her highest TL. Smiley Happy

A "luv button" is the link on a CCs website where you request a CLI.

They seem to be generous. I was approved with intial CL of $800 and after 3 months it is increased to $1800.

Started at 150 in Sep.  Still at 150.  Smiley Sad  Same with Dillards, which I didn't even bother to activate.  They sent me a letter the other day reminding me to activate it.  Pffffffftt!  For what?  I have all the socks nd underwear I need. Smiley Indifferent

GEMB.  bleah.

Oh yeah.  They did give me a whopping $75 increase on my Walmart account.  Woo.

(Meanwhile Target just gave me $500 more to put me at $1500.  I don't even shop at Penney's or Dillards, so why do I even care?)

Oops!!  I forgot to say congratulations on your CLI! Smiley Very Happy  I'm oh so jealous!

Re: How's this for a CLI

I just got one for $250.  Do you all suggest low use of the card or high use, but low balances?
