How funny...I just asked this question yesterday.
In my experience, they seem pretty solid. Was offered freedom and CSP with a single APR. Was approved for freedom. But I also used chase.com/prequalified, so YMMV.
This is exactly what returns after filling out the Prequal form for Chase.
We are unable to locate any offers for you at this time.
This may be because you have opted out of "pre-screened" offers from Chase and other companies or you have recently responded to another offer from Chase.

@Anonymous wrote:I posted a very similar post to this one the other day (didn't get a clear answer). It gave me a list of offers Freedom, Freedom Unlimited, and Chase Sapphire Preferred. I went with the Freedom card because I didn't want to be too overzealous and go for the CSP since it is one of my dream cards. I was approved for the Freedom card. Gave me a 7-10 day response but I called Chase and told them I should have received an immediate approval if they were the one's reaching out to me about pre-approved cards on their app. They "verified" my identity by asking the usual silly questions and then boom! given a $2500 SL. After I received my card they sent me a direct offer for the CSP card but I felt like it was a set up to apply because I thought I would have to wait 6 months to apply for another card from them and I don't want to take a chance being declined.
Believe me i am the same way, that is always skeptical of being "set up".
I mean i have a reasonable enough good history with Chase so far but also i am not as up on Chase as most cardholders are.
Most my spend is been geared toward other lenders these past years and i really am not sure where things stand with their internal scoring system.
Still it's been a plan of mine to finally have a "pair" of Chase cards and really be able to maximize/transfer UR points and a single card won't do it.
While everyone was jumping on Chase and racking up multiple cards with them i steered toward other lenders so that now i am kind of on the tail end of that trend.
I'm sure you will be fine. Looking at your wallet and your Fico scores, you are sure doing A LOT better than me so I'm sure they would have no problem approving you for the CSP. I hear really good things about CSP and it seems like it is expected to be the new IT card since the AMEX Platinum cards annual fee is set to be increased to an unreasonable amount that has turned people off about keeping the card. From what I read, the next best thing is CSP.

If you have their mobile app, there is a new tab 'Offers' and it shows you a list of offers you are pre-approved for and can apply for it easilu on the app.

I've already responded to an offer for the Freedom and received my card. I still have available offers for the Freedom Unlimited and Chase Sapphire Preferred and it has been about 2 weeks already.

That was the same for me, which is why I was surprised to see cards in my Offers page. Again, I think the offers in the Offers page are just as solid as (if not more than) the prequal page.

Yeah it must be a more direct and (approvable) way to attract for a new product then the Prequal page.
I dunno. I'll need to mull over this offer awhile and see what drives my motivation.
It's nice for a change to not act on impulse or need alone but weigh matters out awhile before going to app.
For a sure double-pull (Citi also does this) the SL would likely show where this profile currently stands with Chase internal scoring system too.
Really appreciate you weighing in on this today.
Great that you are able to not act on impulse! Another user in another thread just did the Offers for the CSP today and got the same $12k SL and 16.49% APR as I did. (Important to note that I was denied a CLI on my $4200 Freedom about 10 minutes before I took this offer.) My scores were all on par with your lowest (EQ), and it was indeed a double pull for me - TU & EX, which look really good in your case! Best of luck, and let us know if you decide to go for it. So far all of the data points seem to prove out that the cards in Offers will be approved.

I been avalanched lately by Amex and they are aggressively marketing to me to take them up on a whole range of almost all their many different products but i been holding ground against it.
It's been a very very long road for me to elevate the AAOA and so it's been important to me to maintain some distance at the very least in between apps.
As indicated below my siggy the last app FNBO was January and i kind of been much better at spreading new accounts apart then before.
However niothing would make me happier than to add that CSP and call it quits with Chase card for another year.
Like i said, i'll take today and tomorrow to mull over this one and see how i feel on the motivation.
Those SL's are extremely attractive and would just about seal my satisfaction with Chase so far.
I just so happened to stop into chase on my lunch and spoke with a personal banker. As far as the 5/24 rule is concerned, it only matters for the Chase Sapphire Reserved card. For their other cards, its not really judged but may be on a case by case basis.
