How soon too ask for a CLI, with the best results?

How soon should you ask for a CLI, and what is suggested for the best results.  Also, can you app for a second alaska air card?  I like the bonus miles.

Typically 6 months. However some members get them sooner!

I agree.  Some cards let you press da LUV button before you even get the card in hand.

Comenity store cards are notorious for this.

I asked at 3 months, and got an 8K bump

BOA/FIA has been very generous with me.

BOA Travel Rewards went from $5000 to $6000 after 2 months.; Fidelity Amex went from $5000 to $12000 after 4 months.

Keep in mind...you will have to burn a HP for each request.
