Not to bump up a post but +1.

Tried Cap 1 reps a couple times in 2 months and nothing they could do for CLI.

Emailed "CEO" and got a call back from an executive Rep. Called back, spoke nicely to her, explained what & why, next day logged into my CAP1 account and limit was doubled!

Now I wish I asked for more b/c it almost sounded they were going to give half.

Any one have luck getting an Executive to change a secured cap1 to unsecured? I'll try that in a month or so.

I have been with Cap One 28 month perfect payment have the Mastercard with 2000 credit limit. Is there a way I can work with one of the specalist at cap One and get the Quicksilver Visa with say a 3000 credit limit ? My sisters has discover and every time I turn around she is getting 25.00 gift cards to eat out on. It's incredible but she also has 840 Fico.

FB escalates to the EO. They are generally fast & have great CS (all the social media reps actually).

I also emailed mr Fairbank (appropriate name lol), one of his EO staff called my on Friday, but I was at work - I called back and he had left. My limit is just $1250, made 41 payments to them in last 12 months alone, account open 19 months, made over $7700 in payments, my Fico is around 740.

After my inital email, I began to question my credit standing - I applied for 3 cards and got approved for all 3 - all roughly just under 4x the CL of Cap 1.

When i call tomorrow, I will request a Quick Silver and a CLI to $4500 - On a SOFT PULL, if they won't oblige me then I will close the account there and then, I couldn't care less to be honest - my 3 new cards have way more credit lines than i will ever need
