Normally people get a charge card to build a relationship so further apps for the cards they actually wanted are all SP if declined.
Which card(s) were you thinking about?

Any advice?
The underwriting for the charges are very similar, if not the same. As long as your income supports it, you can get a Plat if you qualify for the others.
I know of people who got Green at 650 or so.

I have a BOA Travel Rewards 2,000 Limit and no other cards (closed them)
The card has been open for 12 months, and I have a score of 720 +
I have 12 inquries over the last 12 months and have been rejected from Amex 3 times.
Have utilzation under 5 percent and want an Amex for the beneifits of travel.
Please advice on how best I should do?
Last time you all mention to garden, which I did.
What reason is Amex giving for denial? What else do you have on your CR's? Car loan? Student loans? 12 inquiries in 12 months is a lot for someone who has one CC account.

What Amex did you apply for?
Do you have any baddies?
1 CO for $300 in 2009. 1 60-day late 7 years ago. 5 inquries. AAoA 3 years. 20% utilization.
YMMV
