How to get credit cards with higher limits?

I've had First premier credit cards for the last two years and I've never been late. But yet every credit card off I get offers that introductory $300 limit. When I was fixing my credit that was understandable I was in the low 500's now Im real close to 700. I got a Chase card and they started me at $300, I don't understand it because I was able to go and finance a car a few weeks later with no money down. What card should i be applying for?

try the capital one prequalify site.  but at most cl would be 1000 at best and most likely 500.

I would recommend applying with a credit union or the bank you do business with.
