It won't show in your AAdvantage profile ... your tickets will automatically get Group 4 Boarding and you'll get the free baggage allowance. Just make sure the AAdvantage # you have associated with the card is also the AAdvantage # you used when you booked the ticket.
You will be one level "below" Platinum for boarding ... which means 1/2 of the plane will have gotten on already (Concierge Key, Disabled, Military, Executive Platinum, Platinum Pro). See the boarding order here : https://upgradedpoints.com/american-airlines-boarding-groups/
That is a great card if you regularly fly American.
Until November 1, 2019 it can be a great card if you regularly fly on any airline at an airport that has an Admirals Club.
From November on you have to be flying American to get in the club.
You can acess priority FC at check-in for checking bags and use priority line through security, if you are not pre-check. Amex Biz plat, Amex gold and AA exec are the only cards I use when I travel. If it's international I slip the CSR in. It's just easier to have the card with you when you travel and go to the lounges.

No to your last question. Can't quote it from mobile. But for the checked bag and boarding, you don't need to do anything with the card to get those tow benefits. You can sock drawer the card and still get those benefits.
Another key point is if you use Avios to book AA flights, those also can be changed and the card will entitle you to the normal features as if you had paid for AA flights out of pocket. Sometimes it can be completed online, othertimes you have to call in since the Avios confirmation number is not the same as the AA but they can look it up.
