How will this ultimately be reflected

So my new BofA visa sig already reported to my TU and EX.  I was at first excited to see I got a sig card espeically for my first prime card and as I was just looking at my CR it doesn't seem to be reporting my credit limit (even though the bank gave me one and I see it online)  So if this continues to not report a credit limit how will it affect my score.  I mean one of the reasons I steped out of the garden and took the HP was because I wanted a prime card reporting.  Will having the prime card help as much if it continues to report without a credit limit?

Starting Score: 570 ish

Re: How will this ultimately be reflected

My score went up almost 25 points when I cleared my boa card. It had a 3k balance on a 12k line at the time but high balance was 4.6k. I paid it off and switched my spending to my chase card my score dropped only 8 points when it had a 2.5k balance and the BOA card was zero'd.

Not the exact situation but for me it shows it hurts my score to carry a balance on my signature card. Bank of America's policy of not reporting the limit for me is keeping me from doing larger purchases on it where I would end up carrying a balance for a few months. I have several new accounts and don't want them to be effected by high util from that card.

Edit:

Was on my mobile,

AkAir $50k | Marriott $65k | Local CU $8k
TU: 770 / EQ: 748 / EX: 769

Re: How will this ultimately be reflected

Does anyone know if I can try to get it changed from a signature to a regular but keep the same amount of credit line.  Not having the 5000 count kinda defeated my purpose of wanting a prime card with better benefits as my everyday card?  I was planning to purchase a new tv and take advantage of the 0% initially which would still keep me under my 10% if the 5K reported but will not be if it doesn't.

Re: How will this ultimately be reflected

Maybe call BofA and explain your dilemma to them. Maybe they can change the card back from a sig card with a CL of 4900. It is not worth it to have to spend a bunch of money on something you don't need just to get your card to report or some other strategy like that. I agree with you that it knda defeats part of the purpose to have a card witha high CL if it doesn't get reported.
