I can't stand the wait!!

I still have not gotten the response to my recon of Ameriprise

I am waiting to hear from Chase if they will honor my request to be removed from a card as joint

I paid off my visa which was at 80% just because I kept missing the statement date, so now have to wait another month for it to update

I paid off 3 of my 4 Target cards (which were all at 100% util)

and I just got the letter for Capital One fixing my account that was included in bk vs chargeoff unpaid status.

I can't decide which of these things will give the biggest score jump, I would assume the chargeoff and the Chase account (95%) util. but I want to pull credit so bad but I don't want to pay for it 4 times as each of the above come in!!

This is why I apply for so much, I get bored waiting to see other things change, gardening is just not as much fun as app spree! how do you all do itSmiley Surprised

I just tell myself I have enough cards. My youngest card is just over 6 years old.

Come on!!!  You can do it. I know you can.  Smiley Happy

From a BK years ago to:
EX - 9/09 pulled by lender 802
EQ - 7/06-663, 3/10-800, 10/10-813
TU - 10/10-774
You can do the same thing with hard work

The good news is, I'm to cheap to pay for 4 fico reports over the next 2 months, so I'm really to cheap to go unlock my reports so I can apply for something!

But I literally read posts all day long and there just arn't enough posts to keep me busy!!

Somebody go apply for things so I can comment! lol

Well, not that I rejoice in other people's problems, lol, but there's something to be said for reading wails by people who just got killed on their scores by ill-advised apping again. Smiley Very Happy It reminds me of watching my FICO's drop 30-40 points when I rebuilt my portfolio.

And it took so freakin' long to get above 5 years AAoA that there's no way that I'm going to app for anything else until my average creeps up high enough that the new account won't drop be below 5 again.

Even though I have AmEx and their wonderful back-dating, my "member since" date is still less than 5 years old, so although an additional AmEx wouldn't hurt as badly as a brand-stinking-new card, it would still drop me.

Re: I can't stand the wait!!

No, I'm not a bit surprised! Mine is low (ridiculously so for someone who just turned 56), because I didn't have credit in my own name for a long, long time. All I have that's older is a couple of mortgages, one of which will be gone soon, and an auto lease, also soon to drop. Experian has the one CC on which I was joint with DXH, and it will be gone next year.

Do you know exactly what your AAoA is in YY MM for all three reports? Equifax will tell you exactly on their full reports, God bless 'em, but I don't think the others do.

You could calculate it, of course, but imagining what your reports look like, I'd probably have to do something involving Maker's Mark and shot glasses before attempting to work yours out! Smiley Very Happy

Oh no, it would take way more than one bottle of Makers Mark, When I get my full reports, they are 60-80 pages depending what reportSmiley Wink

I have had to ask EX to drop old accounts on more than 1 occasion so that I didn't have a permanant split report.

Do they have to use some freight service to deliver your report?
