Have been throwing away offers left and right for a while now.

Something I didn't think would ever come to be.

I look forward to it. Does it feel as good as it sounds?

As with many things, less exciting as time goes on!   Most weeks we get at least 4 Discover IT mailings (between four of us), on some bad days we get 5 in one day.  Seems expensive marketing, but I guess it works for them.

Most of the mailings are repeats, but this does mean when something new comes along, like the Toyota card, I look at it.   Then throw it away, but at least it gets looked at!

Haha sweet, I can't wait. Right now I just get this annoying ValueMoney mailing thing. Full of coupons for services I could never afford like pools and remodels for the house. (not going to finance anything, lol)

Re: I can't wait for the day when I can decline cards.

I think I burned up my shredder.

I remember last year, I got several CapOne offers a week for rebuilding. I literally had a stack and finally rolled the dice. Declined.

I was so pissed at the shredder fodder, and counted....67 offers. I took all 67 envelopes, stuffed their agreement in them, and sent them all back.

Childish, but I felt better.

They still send me a ton of them. I refuse to go subprime because I don't have to. I have plenty.

Wow that's terrible. They offer you over and over then decline. Honestly I want to know why they'd do that.
