I gained 27 points!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to Alliant CU I was able to get a unsecured loan and pay off my CC's. Everything has posted a 0 bal except Orchard and we all know it won't post until the end of the month but I have gained 27 points with everything else posting right away. This is with three new accounts and 1 inq posting to Equ. at the same time. I also left a small bal on one of my other cards $46. This brings my util to 12% until Orchard post then it will be less than 1%. Oh I asked a Cap 1 rep that denied me a Cli if it was ok to leave my accouts at a 0 bal by pif every month and not have my account closed he said yes, so I asked him how would they get paid, he said they get paid everytime we use the card from the merchant even if we pif, that's why they close the card for non-use.

What was the interest rate for your loan with Alliant?  11%?

13.6% because my scores was only 680. However that is still lower than most of my cc's. He told me I can redo the loan in 6 months if I want the 11%.

Hi Bungalow, I signed up for the savings account in July and when they opened it I called and asked for a unsecured loan of 5k the next week so they could use the same report. The rate is 13.6% I only had 5k in cc debt. In 6 more months the lo said I could call back and request their cc because I will have established a relationship with them, they couldn't do both at the same time. I have since opened a checking account also with the same report.
