That's good enough to get a higher limit if you try for the same card later. Try and get CLI's on all the ones that give soft-pull CLI's.

I have 27 inquiries and tried to see if i can recon but I still need to wait. He said I will recieve 2 letters. The first will be the terms and condition, the second will be their final decision. Fingers crossed.

Like a fool I cancelled a credit card from probably one of the hardest banks to get in with. I cancelled my Citi diamond preferred. I got it last Jan and cancelled it in March this year. It took me a little while to come to terms with what I did which is why I am just now posting this.
It had a 1k starting limit and no AF. Out of the many cards I've had in the past, this card is the ONLY one I regret cancelling. Feel free to call me any names you want.
Good luck!
This wont make you feel any better but I like the design of the card. Has a decent APR also.
My friend has been wanting to cancel his also. Has like a CL of 4k or so, smallest of his cards.
Good luck with your PC request

Is there a reason why you're so concerned about the Diamond Preferred? It doesn't seem like an especially useful card and definitely not one I'd bother re-apping for. While everyone has different wants/needs, if you're having to re-app anyway, a double cash may have made more sense (or whatever you want to PC to).
Point is why re-app? Just app for the card you want.
Yea the card is pretty useless for most people and I definitely understand why but it was one I used mostly for large purchases. I would always pay in full. It was very easy to deal with for me. The only points the card offered were those citi easy deals which are practically useless (although I did save $50 on that beats pill xl using those citi easy deals).
I would like to app for the DC, but last week I tried to get the best buy MC and got declined. I knew I wouldn't get approved for the dc which is why I went for the bb card. I do have use for the bb mc so I wasn't apping just to app. I didn't know until today that you can try and reapply for a card you had previously. I can use that Diamond preferred if they approve me. If not then I have to make do with what I have.
Two of my current cards I don't want to use anymore. They will be closed before the end of the year. I do understand what you're saying though kdm.
You are being WAYYYYYYYY to hard on yourself and overanalyizing your decision. At the time it was simple and what seemed right, hindsight whats really changed.....not much. There is always another card out there and if you feel the need go for it, give yourself more value but most of all realize they need you not the other way around.

I agree with Joe - time to move on. Tons and tons of other cards out there with sexier benefits.

Same here. Good to know.
