There's nothing wrong with being addicted to applying for cards.
Using the word "addicted" suggests lack of impulse control, lack of discipline. Why not, instead, become "addicted" to fine-tuning one's credit strategy instead? Doing so makes it much easier to know the most auspicious times to app for new and/or better cards.
I was addicted to apping for cards a year ago, but the addition has worn off. Now I have a card from most credit card companies with great than $15K exposure each and my inquiries are slowly falling off. I guess the OP wants to become addicted to success? I dunno.
"from most credit card companies" - Are you shoting for the most credit card record?
