I'm a bit afraid....

I want to apply for a credit card but I'm afraid of being declined. Do any of you know if this will be a hard pull report when I apply? For instance I was about to finance tires with good year and they declined. That was about a month ago, my credit standing when I started 10 months ago was pretty horrid I was mid 400's. Not a long credit history and I have 1 or 2 charge offs on my report which I paid for, working on gw's. I'm at (666, 658,671 with exp, equ, tran consecutively). What do I do?

In most cases an application of credit will result in a hp. To better assist you, can you detail your credit profile? Baddies? Inq's? Cc's? Income?

Applying for new credit will typically result in an hard inquiry. I don't know what tradelines you already have or how many inq's are on your report but if you want a CC w/o a HP, you can look into the shopping cart trick for store cards. There are many posts on that here - just do a simple search of the forum and many relevant posts will come up.

Yeah, Below is the information for them. I'm working on a GW with Gecrb also decided I will settle since it is now double what I owed. I only have one credit card, A secured credit card from 53 bank. Also, paying for a car, installment loan that's all plus my student loans.

Re: I'm a bit afraid....

I would refrain from app,gin until the GW letters have been exhausted. You could try another secured card. SDFCU has one that does not use a hp -right now, your baddies are aging off and that's good. adding another secured card and managing it well can be beneficial.
