Applied for their Privileges Card and instant approval for $15K
So... about their INQ sensitivity... lol
Congrats!
I know when the system spit the instant approval i nearly fell off my chair lol
That is just great! Congrats... I figured you would nail it...
Thanks
I have to call land see what kind of APR I got.
Seriously I never thought I would get in with BOA after I closed two of their cards back in 2007.
Now you make me want to APP with them again - but I won't. I just closed up a bunch of stuff that I no longer wanted to manage. If it had a place in my spend plan, but I will use the US Bank Cash+ for that... ![]()
As I remember, I think I was right around 15% for my APR.

Yep - thats good....
So, again congrats. I would tell you not to let many balances report for the next 6 or so months. When I got the AA, they questioned why I had like 8 cards reporting a balance. Mind you, the balances were small, all under $200 for normal monthly spend. I told the guy that I used my cards for the best rewards structure and I paid them in full when the statement arrived. Did not make any difference to him, they could have each had $20k balance and he still would have shut me down.
At that time, I did have a balance with PSECU that was a little under $10k. But that has long since been paid off.
I know how to talk the talk so to speak and when I questioned their statement that we had enough open credit already, I ask him if they were nervous that I was going to pull money against all of my lines and go "belly up". He stated that was a concern but of course I could free free to apply with them in the future... I am picking on this guy but he was actually very nice.
I could have contaced them inside of 90 days for a reconsider, but I totally forgot to do that. My bad...
Congrats!
I think you had a BOA secured card that graduated not too long ago, correct?
