So in December I am looking to apply for about 4-5 new cards. Currently have a Capital One Secured (Which after I get these new cards I'm getting rid of) and a Discover It. I am a student, I don't buy groceries, just gas and restaurants and I dont travel..anyways here is the list I am slimmed it down too. I need to get to about 4-5 cards from this list, any I am open to suggestions as well.
1. Chase Freedom
2. Citi Forward for students
3. Citi Dividend for students
4. Bank Of America Student Cash Rewards
5. Suntrust Cash Rewards
6. USAA Visa
7. Sallie Mae World Mastercard
8. AMEX BCE
9. AMEX Green
10. Capital One Quicksilver Rewards
I am looking to get a relationship with American Express, I am starting a business soon so I would like to have a good relationship with them so I can get a nice business card (platinum or centurion)
Anyways let me know what you guys think I should get!
Thanks.

+2... If you are full member of USAA, you should have applied with them already... secured if you have to.
check offers for Capital one right on there site... if you don't get a pre-qual offer, DO NOT APPLY!
check offer for chase the same... but you can risk it and apply without a pre-qual and it's not so for sure denial like a capital one if you ask me.
and for sure apply for amex... everyone is WAY to sensitive on who can't get approved for them... they are not that hard!

Plus a business card: Capital One Spark Cash. 2% Cash Back on all purchases.
Do you think I should go for 5 instead of 4? Does it make a difference?
