I screwed up :) when should I CLI chase

Ok so I got a bit inpatient and I went for a freedom card. I recently got a discover in January to BT 4000 from one card to it. Well I should have waited cause chase only gave me a 1500 limit most likely because that 4000 is showing on 2 different cards.  Also because I have 6 pulls and maybe a aaoa of 1 year. I am trying to get csp to add to the freedom I figured I could wait 5 to 6 months (I plan on traveling about 7 months from now). Do you think I may have a chance in getting it? I wanted freedom to build relation. The rep said they couldn't up my cli just yet. Should I try for it in 4 months before I app for csp or whould I wait till after I app for the csp? Thanks for advice

I really wish you the best of luck in your CSP goal, but I think you should wait a while because if Chase only gave you $1,500 for the Freedom, you may not qualify for the $5K minimum CL for the CSP right now. I would wait the 5 or 6 months and then apply.

I would app for CSP in 6 month only ...basically as late as possible to use the card for your travel plans in 7 months. With several new cards and low AAoA your approval odds will increase with more time. Good luck !

Utilization can also impact limits and APR's.  You mention BT'ing -- what's your utilization like?  Even without knowing I'd say your answer isn't X months (it's never just about time) but when you get your utilization optimized.
