Anyone know who they normally pull?

If they're providing an EX score of any sort, one can assume that's their default pull.
That said, USBank is a national lender, and they may well pull based on your location as well. Since I was curious too, I took a look at one of the credit pulls databases and it appears as they pull traditional regional lines for the most part: East Coast = EQ, West Coast = EX, and some of the Mid-west appears to be blurred between the traditional TU and EQ dependant on specific location. The variation could be for folks who recently moved as well.

This isn't surprising at all. People who actively hunt these features down will usually benefit more from a points transfer-style card (like Chase UR or Amex MR) than a cash-back one.
This product on the other hand seem targetted at the upper-end of "normal customers" with "normal spending patterns" (ie no frequent international travel, etc.).
Xtina, where you located?
I just had a long chat with at the website with a rep. The Bill Pay is one 5% option...no matter how many bills you pay. You still get another 5% option besides that. She said you can charge 125 bills through it. It's all one option. Things is though that some of heftier utlilities come with a fee. I put in the $1092 electric bill at my business and it produced a fee of 29.97...or about 2.74%. So, I'd still net 2.26%. Not bad.
The number to call and ask questions is 877 727 3535 til 10pm CST
She also said you can pick the same categories every quarter if you like...unless the policy changes.
I've read here that they're pretty conservative and everyone goes through manual underwriting. I wouldn't have an issue with manual underwriting but no one has a card worth two hard pulls.
I've heard really great stuff about their service, though.
I don't need more cards but might look at them to replace Chase Freedom in a year or two..... if there's only one pull, LOL!
I wonder if I will be approved for two of these cards
5% on 4 category would be awsome lol
Yea, I wouldn't have applied if I knew there were going to be 2 HPs. I called the branch after I noticed the 2nd one and complained a bit. They wouldn't/couldn't remove it. I haven't requested a CLI with them either because I don't want a 3rd HP.
I think they are pretty stingy - and I would suggest applying in a branch if you can. I think that the branch Manager I dealt with tugged at Underwriting a little to get me approved. I don't think my 684 would have been approved without a little help.
