So I am looking to get another card. I currently have the CSP the Freedom and a discover card(don't know the name, its from 08). I never use the discover as i think its a waste of card but keep it open for its history(1st card). The CSP I usually use when eatting out and when I am on vacation(also use it to book my vacations). The freedom use to be the CS and it rarely gets used. I am looking for another card mainly to give to my fiance to use for groceries as I usualy pay cash for everything I purchase.
Nothing bad on my report that I'm aware of, recently purchased a house last october and scores were high 7s i believe and my discover fico always reports around the low 8s

If you want a card with low fees and low interest, and don't care about rewards.... I would recommend the Barclays Ring card. It's my favorite card of all.

What would you like your rewards to be from the purchases? Cash back? For travel?
Why wouldn't you see if Discover can PC that card to the it card? Get the 5% cash back on it. May give you a better reason to use it here and there.
When you're here long enough, that will become "I don't want a new card, but I don't how I got it" lol

Sallie Mae is my go to grocery store card..
This is a situation where sticking to UR may be the easiest thing to do because you travel.
You could consider going for an Ink Bold as it has a great signup and 5% back on cable/phone bills and office supply stores. Then transfer those to the CSP. And transfer all freedom to CSP.
You could also add a cobranded airline card if you wanted. Do you stick w/ the same airline??...for priority boarding, checked bag, mileage bonus, etc. Delta has $50 and 50k skylmiles promo. You could grab 50k MRs from a NPSL card , the Amex PRG.
Since you got the mortgage, you could kinda go a little crazy if you wanted. But I would try to pick out what will make you the most based on your spend.
Citi Prestige might be one to consider as well.
Regardless its always nice having discover categories paired with the Freedoms...so you may want to PC the discover. What discover card do you have? How much monthly spend?
