I want the Chase Untied Millage Plus Card but should I get a BOA credit card first?

I've been working on improving my credit for the past two years and I'm at 703 now. II only have one Capital One creedit card with $500 limit with almost nothing on it. I also have a low six figure salalry. 'd like to get the Chase United Millage Plus card but i'm worried that if I apply I might get declined.

I've had a long relationship with BOA with both a personal and a business account. Should I apply for a BOA credit card first as I'll probably have a higher chance of getting approved there?

Need more info

Baddies, INQ.s AAoA, any other TL's, only one card?

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: I want the Chase Untied Millage Plus Card but should I get a BOA credit card first?

zero inquired in the past two years.

AAOA is about 6.5 years.

Yes, only one credit card

Im not sure what TL means but if it means transfering balance, I'm not looking to transfer any balance.

I do have one late payment from 4.5 years ago on a credit card that was past due 30 days.

Your credit profile has 2 issues: one baddie, and low credit limit. Since you already have a banking relationship with BofA, I would recommend you apply for a card with them to establish a high credit limit first. Then wait for a few months and apply for the Chase United. Chase doesn't usually go above the current highest limit in your portfolio.

That's kind of what I had in mind. My next question was going to be how long would you wait between applying for the second one
