I'm trying to gather some data point regarding approval odds for US Bank cash But has anyone been approved over 8/12 The majority of approval I seen under 6/12
other data points Suggest if you are 0/12 or even 0/6 Pretty much getting high Credit line

Many data points over the years suggest that if you're over 1/12 in inquiries/new accounts approval is still possible but odds are poor regardless of the overall health of your credit history.
For the core US Bank cards, it is better to be 1/12 but it is more relaxed for co-branded cards (I guess I got my Ralph's card, when I was 3/12).
PS: The relationship to US Bank (checking, mortgage, etc) might have some influences to possibly bypass the 1/12 trend. Also, there is no official announcement on 1/12 requirement by the US Bank. So, it is not an official strict rule and it is a general trend.

I have the USB Cash+ card and I was not 1/12 but probably closer to 8/12 when I got it with a FICO of around 675ish. I can say that they do hold my mortgage which is in excellent standing and from my DP perspective relationship matters more to them than FICO or HPs. They had been chasing my business based on my mortgage for several months and I decided to app for the card and got it with a solid SL. To further prove this I got a pre-approved offer a few months ago for their platinum VISA. I used the link and got that card (probably 6/12 can't remember) with NO hard pull based on the pre-approval. My opinion is when it comes to USB a solid banking relationship with them carries more weight than other factors. If they want a larger presence in your financial picture they will over look requirements that they fixate on for non-banking applicants.

6/12 or 8/12 is very excessive with US BANK. I suppose it partially depends on card if AR might of been different outcome? Usually 1-2/12 is pretty much acceptable known if above 1/12 can possibly recon a 2/12 etc. Pre-approvals certainly can get a pass as they are somewhat of oa relationship bank., but 8/12 is pushing it for them
Of course, if you have millions of dollars of assets and business relationships with US Bank (mortgage, checking, CD, brokerage, etc) or with any other bank, they should possibly work with you to possibly provide the cards that can match your needs. Otherwise, stick to the trends to avoid wasting HP ![]()
On my 2nd app (and was approved) for the Cash+ I was at:
5/12 inquiries
4/12 and 6/24 new accounts
I apped 3 months shy of:
2/12 inquiries
1/12 and 6/24 new accounts
------------------
No prior relationship with them.
I really did and still do feel that they were extremely gracious with the approval and the SL. So I suggest looking at my datapoints as near one end of the spectrum.
