Inactive Credit Cards

I have a bofa amex card that I haven't used for about 2 years, but it's still active. How long until they close the account if there's no usage?

Re: Inactive Credit Cards

Usually CCCs close major credit card after 6 months to a year of inactivity. Store CCs may take longer to close.

You won't get a sure answer for this, many people have survived years and some have lost their cards even before 1 year on inactivity. Are you in a position to use it once in a few months? Say soda or coffee or lays or anything.

You can even charge like 5$ on the card for gas. Swipe this card, start filling and stop quickly (say 3-5$) and fill the rest with your regular card.
